Administrative Assistant

Administrative Assistant Job Responsibilities:
telephone support
filing and mail
word processing
order office supplies
update, maintain and verify office records, data and invoices
operate various business machines such as faxes, copiers and audio visual equipment
prepare special reports by gathering and summarizing data
may make travel or meeting arrangements
Skills Required:
strong computer skills
ability to type at least 40 words per minute
familiarity with various office equipment
good written and oral communication
fundamental understanding of telecommunications industry
basic math
Special Requirements:
sometimes requires working in a room that's cooler than usual due to the needs of computer equipment
sometimes requires working in a room that's a bit noisier than usual due to data processing equipment
you might be required to work evenings or nights
ability to sit for extended periods of time

Administrative Assistant Description:

Administrative Assistants need to have sharp computer skills because they are often asked to maintain and organize large amounts of information.
