Center Operations Team Leader

Center Operations Team Leader Job Responsibilities:
provide advanced technical support and assistance
utilize network performance monitoring tools to identify and analyze impairments that may affect services sold
perform end-to-end trouble isolation and repair on physical and logical layer services
devise action plans for more complex service resolution
keep customers and management updated on efforts aimed at restoration of service
provide leadership to other members of NOC team
serve as SME for technical network issues
interface with various company business units for service improvement and restoration
providing guidance and assistance to other engineers,
directing work flow for NOC as well as address more complex technical issues
Skills Required:
fluent in many Networking protocols
understanding of TCP IP
LAN Networking media types such as Ethernet
frame relay, ATM, IP/VPN, MPLS and PIP
WAN media such as ISDN and T1

Center Operations Team Leader Description:
You'll need strong business and technical skills in this management role. Working in a fast-paced Network Operating Center (NOC) environment, you'll be responsible for providing highly advanced assistance to customers to troubleshoot their escallated network issues. Your work comes into play when no one else has been able to resolve the issue. You'll need a heafty dose of patience and an analytical mind.
